Instructions for authors

Instructions for submissions

The proposal (a title, a 500 to 800 words abstract and 5 keywords) and then the full submission (a text from 5 to 15 pages) must be submitted by one of the authors:

while respecting the submission deadlines:

  • September 05th, 2022 for the proposal
  • October 01st, 2022 for the full text

Files sent by e-mail must be in PDF (.pdf) and Word (.doc, .docx) format.

The submitted work must be original and must not have been previously published or be under consideration by another journal or any other publisher when being evaluated for this conference.

The submitting author is responsible for ensuring that the publication of the article has been approved by all other co-authors. It is also the responsibility of the authors to ensure that articles originating from a particular institution are subject to the approval of the institution concerned.

Submission of a paper should be regarded as a commitment that, should the paper be accepted, one of the authors will register and attend the conference to present the work.

Papers will be assessed by at least two reviewers based on their originality, scientific richness, significance, relevance, and clarity of presentation.

Instructions for poster format and presentation

Poster format

Dimensions of the posters should correspond to portrait A0 format (119 cm high x 84 cm wide). The size at the disposal on the poster board is 90 cm width x 120 cm height.

Text and illustrations must be clearly visible, so that all posters can be readable from a distance of 2 meters. Recommended size for the text is 24 pt or larger. Headings should be 44 pt or larger.

At the top of the poster, in bold lettering of about 2.5 to 3 cm size, the presentator has to provide the title of the paper, name(s) of the author(s), and affiliation. Title and authors must be the same as stated on the submitted abstract/paper.

The poster content must be self-explanatory and presented in such a way that spectators standing one to two meters from your poster can clearly read and grasp the significance of the work and its central message in a few minutes.

Tables should be used sparingly and kept as simple as possible. Data are almost always more efficiently displayed graphically.

Poster presentation

There will be an area marked for each poster. Suitable material to display the posters on will be provided on-site.

Posters of a session have to be removed before following session.

Authors who are presenting a poster are requested to stand by the poster during the poster sessions (schedule will be provided before the conference date).

The printed version of the poster must be brought by the author personally and may not be submitted by mailing in advance.
