The School of Information Sciences (ESI) is a public higher education institution specializing in the fields of management and engineering of information, data, knowledge and content in Morocco. It is located in Rabat, Morocco and was founded in 1975.

ESI provides initial training, continuing education and scientific research in the fields of competitive intelligence and strategic intelligence, knowledge and content engineering, information systems engineering, document engineering and related fields.
The objective is to actively contribute to the development of the information society and the knowledge economy in Morocco.

Rabat is the second largest city in Morocco after Casablanca. Located on the Atlantic coast, in the northwest of Morocco, Rabat is the fusion of the modern capital and the historic city. It bears witness to a fruitful dialogue between the Arab-Muslim past and Western modernism.

Rabat is very famous for the historical monuments of the Kingdom from the various previous dynasties, for the luxurious carpets and the rich embroidery. It is a well preserved city. It embodies an urban planning aimed at maintaining historic buildings (Hassan Tower, Kasbah of the Oudayas, etc.) and traditional housing characterized by a well-established identity (medina and Diour Jamaâ, etc.).
