Dr Basma Makhlouf Shabou

Head of the Master in Information Sciences and Coordinator of the archival sector and archival. Basma Makhlouf Shabou is also a teacher at the Geneva School of Management in the Documentary Information sector since September 2010 and she has taught in other schools and universities within the framework archival programs (the Higher Institute of Documentation of the University of La Manouba (2002-2003), the School of Library and Information Sciences of the University of Montreal (2005-2010, EBSI-UdeM). Author of several scientific works, her research in archival science, as well as her conferences and publications focus on the evaluation of archives, the quality dimensions of archives and also on the accessibility of public data.

Dr Luciana Duranti 

University of British Columbia in Vancouver - Canada

Archival theorist and professor of archival science and diplomatics at the School of Library, Archival and Information Studies, University of British Columbia in Vancouver, Canada. She is a noted expert on diplomatics and electronic records. Since 1998, she has been the director of the electronic records research project, InterPARES (International Research on Permanent Authentic Records in Electronic Systems). She has disclosed the concept of the archival bond originally initiated by Italian archivist Giorgio Cencetti in 1937. Author of several scientific works, she conducts research on the preservation of the authenticity of digital records and archives in both in-house systems and cloud environments.

Dr Elsa Marguin-Hamon 

National School of Charters (École Nationale des Chartes) - Paris - France

Paleographer archivist and heritage curator, graduate in classics, doctor of linguistics and qualified to direct research, Elsa Marguin-Hamon is Director of Research and International Relations at the National School of Charters since October 2018. She is a philologist, translator of medieval texts and a specialist in the literary and normative traditions of the central and late Middle Ages. As an archivist, she devoted several classification and research works to archives. With Paolo D’Iorio, Isabelle Kalinowski and Emmanuelle Sordet, since 2019 she has been leading a École Normale Supérieure (ITEM) – National Charter School seminar, in collaboration with the Jean-Mabillon Center, entitled “Archives: laboratory of methods”. Author of several scientific works, her research focuses in particular on the history of medieval texts and their transmission from the perspective, in particular, of a pragmatic approach to ideas and doctrines, and the reception and study of ancient traditions in the contemporary period.

Member of the “Group for Study and Research on the Media” “GERmédias” founded within the SFSIC. Sociologist of science and innovation, is Full Professor at the University of Lausanne. Chemical and agricultural industries engineer (Gembloux Agro-Bio Tech), graduate in philosophy (UCLouvain) and doctor in socio-economics of innovation (École des Mines de Paris), his work focuses on the links between science, technology and society. . His field of research concerns the analysis of the relationships between science, technology and society. After having studied scientific cooperation networks and contributed o a sociology of design and innovation activity, then nanosciences and nanotechnologies by favoring in particular an ethnographic approach, his work now focuses on digital technologies in the field of cultures and digital humanities, with three axes: the study of the design and development of digital tools in the humanities and social sciences and cultural institutions, the shaping of new digital beings and the study of the humanities and social sciences grappling with the digital tools. He has published several works, including, in 2016, the book Digital humanities: culture facing new technologies.
